Clear    ceramic    braces    consist    of    either    transparent    or    tooth-coloured    brackets   and     work    just    like    the    metal    braces.    They    are    inconspicuous    and    provide excellent    results.    They    provide    great    results    and    are    only    marginally    more expensive than metal braces. A   common   option   when   having   braces   on   both   the   upper   and   lower   arches   is   to have   a   cosmetic   brace   on   the   far   more   visible   upper   arch   and   metal   braces   on the not so visible lower arch. We    use    Clarity    Advanced    Ceramic    braces    which    have    been    designed    to    blend   in   with   your teeth. The small bracket size makes them super comfortable. Dr   Eva   regularly   attends   local   and   national   meetings   dedicated   to   Invisalign and has experience of treating patients with a range of malocclusions. Further information is available on the Invisalign website. Why Invisalign? This   has   been   designed   to   treat   adolescent   patients   allowing   teeth   to   erupt   into the   mouth.   It   is   just   like   the   full   version   allowing   the   patient   to   place   and remove them from their mouth. The   main   difference   is   that   they   have   a   blue   dot,   which   allows   you   and   your teen    to    assess    how    well    the    aligners    are    being    worn    so    the    treatment progresses at the right pace. Benefits: They    can    be    removed    for    great    cleaning,    sports    and    playing    musical instruments or for that important social occasion Invisalign   Teen   gives   you   6   sets   of   replacement   aligners   if   any   go   missing during the treatment time.

SIX MONTHS SMILES in Hampshire – from £1500
Can you achieve a great smile in 6 months? Yes in some cases we can just take 6 months to give you a great looking result. So why don’t I offer Six Month Smile or Faster Braces? Well   ‘Six   Month   Smiles’   and   ‘Faster   Braces’   are   just   two   of   a   number   of   companies   that   are   advertising   widely   to   the public and dentists (not specialist orthodontists). Dentists   are   invited   onto   a   1-2   day   training   course.   As   Six   Month   Smile   only   straightens   the   six   front   teeth,   the   back teeth and the bite are ignored. The dentist has to buy the braces from the company directly. Unfortunately   it   is   the   patient   that   loses   out   as   problems   can   arise   when   the   bite   is   not   treated.   I   have   seen   the   effect of   this   first   hand   where   bite   effects   have   been   ignored   and   treatment   has   to   be   repeated,   at   additional   cost.   This   is because   a   dentist   with   only   1-2   days   of   training   cannot   be   expected   to   diagnose   the   case   fully.   It   takes   3-5   years   of extra training to become a specialist in braces. If   you   only   want   the   front   six   teeth   to   be   straightened   we   can   do   this   and   explain   how   this   would   affect   your   bite   and what you could expect at the end of treatment. Being fully informed is essential before you start treatment so you know all your options.
